Parking at Gallaudet University
In order to park at Gallaudet University, please print off the Day Parking Permit and display on the dashboard of your car. Visitors may park in the 6th street garage located near GUKCC, or in the overflow lot across from campus.
Metro/Shuttle Bus
A shuttle service is available to and from the Kellogg Conference Hotel. In preparation for your site visit, below is the information on where to catch the Gallaudet shuttle bus.
Where to Board the Shuttle Bus:
The new location for boarding/discharging passengers on M Street is the corner of M Street and Delaware Ave., NE. When leaving the station via the subway exit to the M street side, after reaching the street take a left to the traffic light, which will be Delaware Ave., NE.
The new location for boarding/discharging passengers at Union Station will be the parking garage.
After entering the bus parking garage area, walk to your right, passing the Zip Car rental spaces. Gallaudet's new assigned space is 013 (the fifth parking space after Zip Car). A Gallaudet University sign will be located at the assigned space. This arrangement will provide the same safe environment that campus shuttle riders have grown accustomed to.
Wheelchair Accessibility:
The University operates buses which are wheelchair accessible. Wheelchairs must be secured by the driver.
NOTE: If you are using the shuttle service, please print off a copy of the shuttle service and shuttle pass for your trip.
