Use or the possession of illegal fireworks in the District of Columbia could face fines and penalties of up to $2,000 and/or arrest for further prosecution.  Get an Explosives Retail LicenseEstablishments where explosives of any kind, including ammunition but excluding fireworks, are kept for retail sale.  Get an Asbestos Abatement Business LicenseThis classification applies to any partnership, firm, association, corporation, or sole proprietor that is engaged in the removal, encapsulation, enclosure, disposal, or transportation of asbestos or material that contains asbestos. Get a Varsol Sales LicenseThis classification applies to owners or managers of establishments where varsol is kept or stored for painting or spraying and other purposes. Get a Solvent Sales LicenseOwners or managers of establishments where solvent is kept or stored for painting or spraying shall obtain a Basic Business License.  Get a Solid Waste Vehicle LicenseLicense for vehicles that pick-up trash from commercial or residential facilities. Get a Solid Waste Collector LicenseNo person shall engage in the commercial transportation of solid waste by vehicles, in or through the District of Columbia, without first procuring a collector's license. Get a Pyroxlin LicenseEstablishments primarily engaged in mixing, blending and storing pyroxlin for any purpose.  Get a Pesticide Operator LicenseThis classification applies if you own or manage a pesticide application business in which pesticides are applied upon the lands of another for hire or compensation. Get a Pesticide Applicator LicenseThis classification applies if you are a commercial applicator, private applicator, public applicator, or registered employee.
