| Expired Business License Information Center
The Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs (DCRA) recently mailed more than 7,000 letters to District businesses whose Basic Business License (BBL) has expired and warns of significant penalties – including fines and closure – if they do not immediately come into compliance.
Businesses with an expired BBL will have until June 27, 2008 to reapply for their license before further action is taken. Detailed information on application procedures, fees and documents are available online at the DCRA Business License Information Center.
Below are two searchable lists of all businesses we currently believe are operating with expired and/or unpaid basic business licenses - one in order of your Customer Number and another by Corporation Name.
NOTE: You may also search for your business by entering your address in the "find" box in the upper right hand corner.
Next Steps
- If you believe your business is listed in error, please call (202) 442-4311.
