New Rules and Regulations Governing Used Car Lots On Monday, March 2, 2009, DC Mayor Adrian Fenty, joined by Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs director Linda Argo, DC Attorney General Peter Nickles and members of the Metropolitan Police Department, closed down Metropolitan Imports, Inc. for the unlawful outdoor storage of motor vehicles. The move was part of the ongoing sweep of used car lots in the District to ensure that they are in compliance with all rules and regulations.
