Small Business Resources

The Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs (DCRA) launched the Small Business Resource Center (SBRC) over 10 years ago to provide training and consultation services to customers, assisting them when accessing DCRA services. Today, the SBRC has one goal, to make it easier to start a business in the District of Columbia, and it is the first stop for existing and aspiring businesses who want to grow.

We have resources to assist customers:

  • With navigating registration and business licensing
  • Understand business life cycle roadmaps
  • Accessing DCRA products and services more efficiently
  • Use District-wide partnerships to leverage training and counseling opportunities
  • Obtain business development information
